K Car API
The K Car API helps you assess a car before you contact the branch. In one record you can compare the body inspection with the insurance history and mileage records, look at the photos and the current price, and use the VIN to check the car against other sources. We collect the data from kcar.com for you, so you don't need a scraper or parser of your own.
The change feed shows when a K Car vehicle goes on sale, when its price changes and when it is taken off sale.
The daily K Car export holds every car that is still for sale.
VIN, model year and month of first registration, mileage with its history, power, fuel, transmission and drivetrain, inspection result and the list of replaced and repaired body parts, insurance history, equipment, branch with coordinates, photos.

Workflow

1. Store the feed's starting position before you load the cars: call /change_id with the current date in Seoul time. If it returns 0, there have been no events that day yet: repeat the call later with the same date.
2. Download the stock through /offers, moving to the page given in next_page until it becomes null. Then process /changes from the stored position: while the load was running, some cars may have changed price or gone off sale.
3. From then on, store next_change_id after each batch of events and request /changes with it. When it is null, keep your position and repeat the request later. To pick cars for a specific order, use /offers with filters.

'https://{access_name}.auto-api.com/yyyy-mm-dd/all_active.csv'K Car (kcar.com) sells used cars from its own stock and is the largest seller of this kind in South Korea. The company grew out of SK Encar's direct sales division and has operated under the K Car brand since 2018. It buys cars from their owners, inspects them and sells them through a network of branches across the country, with home delivery available.
K Car prices are fixed, there is no haggling, and some cars carry weekly discounts. Cars are inspected before sale, and the listing states which group a car falls into: no accident, minor repair or accident. The listing also shows the replaced and repaired body parts, the insurance claims with the amounts paid and the mileage records by date. The VIN is published in full.
K Car's inspection is best read together with the insurance history: a car in the no-accident group may still have insurance payouts, because the group describes only the frame and exterior panels. The month of first registration, engine displacement and power in the record let you estimate import duties and fees. If a buyer has already reserved the car, the is_reserved flag shows it.
The /changes feed reports newly listed cars, price changes and removals from sale. For the current reservation status and the rest of a car's data, call /offer.
